The REINS Insector is a floating soft bait designed to imitate an insect that has fallen onto the surface. It is intended for surface fishing and for fish that feed on terrestrial prey, with a compact profile but relatively heavy for its size to help with casting.
Insect imitation for surface presentations
Its profile reproduces an insect, with silicone filaments running through the body to suggest the movement of legs or wings once in the water. The lure is designed to stay on the surface thanks to a floating material.
Floating material with micro air bubbles
The material contains numerous micro air bubbles to maintain strong buoyancy. This design helps keep the lure on the surface for retrieves and drifts suited to fish positioned just beneath the film.
Size, rigging and target species
