Advantages and key benefits:
Using the Devaux Tungsten Beads Slot Gold provides fast and precise weighting, particularly effective for quickly reaching the desired water column. Their excellent grip on the hook prevents slipping during repeated casts or when fighting a fish. Tungsten gives them a high weight in a small volume, allowing the creation of compact and discreet flies that remain highly effective. The gold finish also adds visual attractiveness, enhancing realism and triggering fish aggression. Thanks to their compatibility with many tying styles, they are suitable for classic nymphs as well as innovative modern patterns.

Usage tips and recommended rigs:
For maximum effectiveness, slot tungsten beads are ideal for tying nymphs intended for fast or deep water. It is recommended to use a hook head adapted to the bead diameter to ensure optimal retention. Mount your fly with the slot positioned toward the hook bend, which facilitates sliding on both curved and straight-shank hooks. Pair them with natural or synthetic materials of your choice for a customized and effective result. Using a finish varnish or glue can strengthen the assemblies for increased longevity. Recommended techniques: sight fishing, indicator nymphing, tying perdigones or French nymphs to target trout, grayling and chub.
