Proven effective in still or flowing waters, they offer anglers consistent results regardless of conditions. Versatility: these flies are suitable for reservoir or river fishing, providing multiple catching opportunities.

Usage tips and recommended rigs

The Devaux Chironomids NCH08 reveal their full potential on a thin or light weighted head for sight nymphing, in a controlled drift or as a dry fly thanks to their natural buoyancy. Use them on the end of a fine tippet to increase strike rates. Tip: pair them with an emerging imitation when fish are actively feeding at the surface. Perfect for periods of low activity, these flies can also be used in a "palaretta" rig or fished with a strike indicator.
