The BKK Assist Spear-21 UVO is a treble hook designed to optimize soft lure rigging when you want a discreet presentation, better hook-ups, and more reliable bait retention. Its design focuses on two essentials in lure fishing: making the rig more visible when needed and turning more bites into landed fish. The UVO treatment (UV visibility enhancement) adds an extra visual signal, useful when water clarity, light conditions, or fish activity make detection more difficult. At the same time, the integrated bait spikes stabilize the lure on the rig, limiting slippage and premature tearing caused by repeated casts and strikes.
Another key point is the Super Slide coating. In practice, a low-friction coating helps the hook glide more easily on contact, penetrate more readily, and improve holding power, especially when the strike is short or the fish attacks without fully engulfing the bait. The result is a versatile rig for anglers who want more dependable sessions, whether prospecting, fishing in a straight line, or using more aggressive retrieves.

Benefits and Key Selling Points
Choosing the BKK Assist Spear-21 UVO means aiming for a cleaner, more consistent rig throughout a day of fishing. First, bait retention: a soft lure that shifts on the hook loses realism, swims less well, and needs frequent adjustment. The integrated spikes help keep the lure in place, improving action consistency and saving time, especially during fast prospecting. Next, visibility: without turning your rig into a beacon.
